CHARLOTTE, N.C.- For the second straight week, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers made a jump in the NJCAA National Rankings on Monday, climbing the ladder one spot to #6 in the final rankings of the 2025 season.
The Bucs advanced to the FCSAA Final Four for the second straight year with a three game series win over the Pensacola State Pirates at Buccaneers Park in the Fort Myers Regional over the weekend. The Bucs improved to 41-14 on the year with the victories in game two and game three of the series to punch their ticket to Port Charlotte.

The Bucs are one of five FCSAA squads in the rankings, four of which will compete for an FCSAA Championship this weekend. Gulf Coast moved up to #11 with their series win over Miami Dade while Indian River fell nine spots to #20, State College of Florida checked in at #22, and Central Florida rounded out the pack at #24.
The Bucs will now set their sights on their first FCSAA Championship in program history as they make the short trip to Port Charlotte on Friday for the opening round where they will take on #22 State College of Florida in a 1 PM first pitch. The double elimination tournament runs through Monday with the winner punching their ticket to the Juco World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado later this month.
