Bucs Draw 3 Seed For First World Series
The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers will head to their first Juco World Series in program history as the #3 seed in the bracket as the NJCAA released the matchups for the 10 team event Tuesday afternoon.
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers will head to their first Juco World Series in program history as the #3 seed in the bracket as the NJCAA released the matchups for the 10 team event Tuesday afternoon.
Walters State earned the top seed followed by defending champs Blinn and FSW with Johnson County picking up the #4 seed and Shelton State picking up the #5 spot.
FSW will match up with 8th seeded Salt Lake in the first round in the prime time game Saturday night at 7:30 PM (MT) which drew over 8,000 fans a season ago.
FSW heads to the Rocky Mountains with a 44-15 record and Champions of both the Citrus Conference and the FCSAA for the first time in program history. The Bucs were battle tested throughout the 2025 campaign, playing 18 games against Top 25 ranked opponents this season.
