Bucs Head to Postseason Ranked 17th
The Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers will head into the 2026 postseason ranked the #17 team in the land according to the Week 10 NJCAA National Rankings released on Monday.
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers will head into the 2026 postseason ranked the #17 team in the land according to the Week 10 NJCAA National Rankings released on Monday.
The Bucs closed out the regular season Friday 33-15 overall and 21-12 in Citrus Conference play which was good for a 3rd place finish among the 11 teams. FSW captured six wins over Top 25 ranked opponents during the regular season which was third most of any team in the FCSAA in 2026.
There was lots of movement in the Week 10 Poll With Johnson County at #1 and Iowa Western at #8 the only two teams to hold their spots in the Top 10. Gaston and Cloud County moved up two spots each to #2 and #3 while Midland dropped two spots to #4 and Blinn entered as the final team in the top five. Four FCSAA teams were represented in the rankings with Chipola leading the way at #6, Gulf Coast shooting up eight spots to #13 and Central Florida and FSW sandwiched together at #16 and #17.
FSW now awaits their matchup for this weekend's FCSAA Regional round where they will go on the road for a best two of three series at one of four locations across the state.
