Freshman (2021-2022): Oba played in 10 games, starting 7 at the University of Sioux Falls before transferring to FSW at the break.  He averaged 5.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for the Cougars,  notching a pair of double-doubles in back to back games with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Augustana and Wayne State.  

Freshman (2020-2021): Oba played in 12 games at Sioux Falls as a freshman, leading the team by shooting 53% from the floor on the season.  

High School: Oba attended Loreto College High School where he put up 18 points and 11 rebounds per game while shooting 57% from the field.  

Personal: Born September 30, 1999, he is the son of Viviane Kamanzi and Onyi Kez Repo.  He has a younger brother, Keziah (7).

Bucs Click On All Cylinders In Dominating Win Over #25 Indian River

The #25 Indian River State Pioneers came into Thursday's Southern Conference battle with the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers the hottest team in the state of Florida, riding an eight game winning streak.  The Bucs quickly let Indian River know that streak wasn't going to hit nine, jumping out to a 20-8 lead to begin the game before blowing the Pioneers away in the second half for a 96-66 win to put themselves right back into the middle of the FCSAA playoff picture with three regular season games left to go.

FSW Completes Furious Comeback, Beats Indian River in Conference Opener

The #25 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers erased a 12 point second half deficit to come away with a 91-89 win over Indian River in the closing seconds Saturday afternoon in Suncoast Credit Union Arena as Jadrian Tracey drove to the bucket and scored with 3.8 seconds remaining and the Bucs forced a miss at the buzzer to win their Conference opener for seventh consecutive season.

All Smiles For Bucs in Non-Conference Finale

For the second straight night, a huge second half propelled the #25 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers to a blowout win in Suncoast Credit Union Arena on Tuesday.  Bradley Douglas scored a game high 20 and Jemal Davis was a perfect 8-8 shooting and had 16 points as FSW hammered North Florida Prep 110-46 to roll into Southern Conference play on Saturday with an 11-4 record.

#3 Chipola Stuns FSW at the Buzzer

For the final 11 minutes and 59 seconds of their Florida Juco Shootout game with the 3rd ranked Chipola Indians, it looked like the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were going to knock Chipola from the ranks of the unbeatens.  Unfortunately for the Bucs, Chipola's JT Warren picked the most inopportune time to connect on his first three pointer of the year, swishing home a triple with 0.7 seconds remaining on the clock to beat the Bucs 70-69, bringing a heartbreaking end to FSW's seven game winning streak.

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers went on the road to Melbourne and the Florida Juco Shootout and drilled the host Eastern Florida State Titans 82-61 Saturday night, getting 20 points from Bradley Douglas and an eighth straight double-double from Tyson Brown in their seventh consecutive victory.

Florida Coastal No Match For High Powered Bucs

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers shot 67% from the field and put up a season high 126 points Tuesday night in a 126-36 bludgeoning of the visiting Florida Coastal Prep Spartans in non-conference action in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

High Flying Bucs Put On A Show Against Gulf Coast

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers put on a show Saturday in front of their home crowd, routing the visiting Gulf Coast State Commodores 94-71 for their fifth straight victory. The Bucs shot 61% in the second half, featuring 11 high flying dunks for FSW.  Jemal Davis scored a career high 23 and Tyson Brown posted his sixth straight double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds in the win.

Bucs Cruise Past St. Pete For Season Sweep

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers flew past the visiting St. Petersburg Titans 77-54 Tuesday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, getting a game high 23 points from Jadrian Tracey and a fourth straight double-double from Tyson Brown to win their third straight contest overall.

Six In Double Figures As Bucs Sail Past Blue Wave

The #20 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers used a big second half to get back in the win column Thursday night at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, sailing past the FSCJ Blue Wave 96-75 in their 2022-2023 home opener.
